My babies <3 I love them and they are the perfect pups I could have asked for :)
-F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby
1.) People are amazed by a tan skinned blonde hair girl. It seems to strike up many new conversations.
2.) People are actually very nice.
3.) New York accents are semi rare.
4.) Bagels, bagels, and more bagels. I aint complaining here.
5.) “Mexicans brought the bed bugs” uhhhh right…. The most bizarre thing I have heard.
6.) Food is incredibly expensive… $7 for a lean cuisine, $18 for a pastrami sandwich, $16 for a margarita.
7.) Dunkin Donuts trumps Starbucks.
8.) Good luck finding a Taco Bell and McDonalds are even pretty rare.
9.) Everything is “lets grab a drink” people dont socialize in their postage stamp apartments.
10.) The Upper West Side tops the Upper East Side any day. You can have Park Avenue, I will take the parks, tree lined streets, brownstones, and sidewalk cafes any day.
11.) Dylan’s Candy Bar is a dangerous place.
12.) Never pass up the chance to use a clean restroom it may be awhile before you find another.
13.) Little dogs are very manly
14.) Benches on a median are the best place for people watching.
15.) Nothing explains the wonderful feeling of a picnic in central park.
That is all for now.

I am so excited we are visiting this while I am in NY!
This made me laugh because almost each one is true except it should be called “they weren’t kidding when they said it was for life” or something like that.

I can’t believe this is going to be my new home in a few months. Seriously ecstatic.
